Implementasi Sistem Informasi Penjualan dan Pengendalian Stok Barang Dengan Metode EOQ (Studi Kasus Toko Thriftyukak21)

Abstrak

Effective inventory management and sales recording are essential elements in supporting smooth business operations, particulary in the retail sector such as at Toko Thriftyukak21. Until now, transaction recording and inventory control processes have been carried out manually, which poses risks of recording errors, overstocking, and inefficiencies during the purchasing process. This research aims to design and implement an information system that is capable of manage sales and stock control in a coordinated way by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) used to calculate the most optimal number of orders and the First In First Out (FIFO) concept for goods issuance. The system was built using PHP and MySQL, with the support of Visual Studio Code and XAMPP. Testing was performed through Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT), and EOQ Validation. Testing proves that each feature can operate as needed, including sales recording, inventory management using FIFO, and EOQ calculations. This system has proven to be helpful in supporting decision-making.
